kID Card Information Form - PDF (13.0 KB)
Benefits
  • Aids in finding lost and missing children
At the discretion of the parents, a permanent record can be maintained in the police department’s database. When a child is reported missing, the digital information can be retrieved and quickly distributed to patrolmen and other agencies to assist in locating the missing child.
  • Security
A durable photo ID that parents can carry with them is the quickest, most effective way to identify lost or missing children.
  • Durable
Printed on rugged, flexible plastic, these cards maintain their clarity and are not affected by water or normal handling, much like your driver’s license.
  • Convenient
Parents can carry their child’s photo ID with them wherever they go. This credit card size ID can be kept in a wallet or purse.
  • Positive Photo ID with fingerprint
The child’s right thumb print is on the back of the card along with emergency instructions for the parent.
  • Child Identification
This is especially valuable when traveling and going through airports.
